B&B San Firmino - ונציה

Location was perfect and the staff were accommodating and kind. The suite we stayed in was spacious and had it's own beautiful stairway entry from the back.

The hand held shower in the cramped bathtub part of the bathroom made showering very difficult. They have made great use of the space but still its very awkward for use.

Excellent hotel,MR. Ventura is a very nice person and a super guide! The castle is situated near all the historical monuments of Venice.Lot of sightseeings around this place! One important thing: there is a lift in the castle-very comfortable and suitable for the children or old people! Highly recommend!

It is a charming B%B. The host is eager to please, however, it might be helpful if his English were a little more fluent.

We had some difficulty finding it once we arrived at Campo Santa Maria de Formosa. A clearer description of exactly where the entrance to the B&B is located would be helpful.

location - easy to walk to many of the areas of interest to us

Owner has a poor command of English. If you do not speak Italian, you will have difficulty communicating. He was however, very friendly and tried his best. If he wants to attract Enlish only speaking customers, I would suggest he take an English speaking class

Location was great. Just be aware that if traveling with many or big baggage you have to pass a few bridges (steps) in order to reach the hotel. The bathroom was nice and clean. The tripple superior room with a nice view to the chanel. Space of the room is good. Good service and support of the owner. Just be aware that is a B&B and not a big hotel chain.

Poor internet connection in the triple superior room. Good only in a corner of the room.

Manque de variété dans le petit déjeuner

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, nur wenige Gehminuten von der Rialtobrücke und San Marco entfernt. Aus dem Fenster sieht man direkt auf einen Kanal. Das Dreibettzimmer, das wir gebucht hatten, war sehr geräumig. Genaugenommen waren es zwei Zimmer mit offener Verbindungtür. Das zugehörige Badezimmer war offenbar frisch renoviert und sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind im venezianischen Stil recht geschmackvoll und ortstypisch in einem alten Haus gelegen.

Das Frühstück war nicht gerade üppig, was man in Italien aber auch nicht unbedingt erwarten kann.

B &b remarquablement placé dans Venise, sur la charmante place Santa Maria Formosa, le long d'un petit canal : on est à mi-chemin entre la place San Marco et le Rialto (inconvénient aussi : ce sont les stations de vaporetto où il y a le plus de monde!). Propriétaire très sympathique, à la fois présent et discret. Nous avions la "chambre familiale" -en vérité, deux chambres communicantes, spacieuses, avec chacune deux fenêtres sur la place, une salle de bain toute neuve et une entrée individuelle par un bel escalier ancien en pierre : très agréable! Petit déjeuner plutôt bien pour un petit déjeuner italien.

Le petit déjeuner serait très bien si le jus de fruits était frais et qu'on ajoutait un peu de salé (fromage ou charcuterie). Sinon, rien à redire.

Das B & B ist geschmackvoll im venezianischen Stil eingerichtet, liegt sehr günstig für Stadtbesichtigungen zu Fuß und erfreulicherweise ein wenig abseits der großen Touristenstöme.

Eine Verständigung in englischer Sprache ist kaum möglich, denn das Personal spricht nur italienisch bzw. italienisch und französisch. Als Gast ohne ausreichende Italienischkenntnisse ist das etwas problematisch, obwohl sich der Inhaber sehr bemüht.

Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec la Place San Marco et la convivialité de Luciano.

Notre chambre donnait directement sur la salle de petit déjeuner donc un certain manque d'intimité.

Prácticamente todo.

La entrada al edificio es mejorable, pero es solo un "pero" de un B&B que merecería ser un Hotel de 4*.

Lucano el dueño es una persona extraordinaria que te hace sentir como en casa y en un ambiente familiar en medio del mar de turismo que carga Venecia.

Lamentablemente tendrían que cambiar los aparatos de aire acondicionado porque la habitación era un horno por mas que cerramos las ventanas y cortinas para que no pasara el sol.Por otro lado,la tina del baño en la habitación familiar es un poco incomoda.Hay que bañarse obligatoriamente sentado y tener cuidado al salir porque en la posición en que esta uno se choca con el techo que es bajo justo ahí.

nuestra habitación estaba justo en frente de la salita desayuno.Daba poca intimidad y se oían los ruidos del desayuno desde las 8 de la mañana.
